It was a magical night for us at the "2004 Tulsa Bare Bones Script-2-Screen" Film Festival!
"Dog Me: Potluck" took home the Grand Jury Selection for the Best of the Fest as the top film at this year's festival! In addition, Producer/Writer/Director/D.P./Editor M. David Lee III won the "Oscar Micheaux Spirit Award" The Oscar Micheaux Spirit Award is not given annually, but only when the Grand Jury identifies and chooses to honor an exceptional filmmaker. We've screened our film at several festivals, but without a doubt this is the best one we've been at. The amount of knowledge shared between the filmmakers... The access to those attending the festival... and the general hard work and love that the organizers, Oscar Ray and Shironbutterfly put into it makes this one of the top up and coming festivals any filmmaker would want to be a part of!
